I love all of the Hello Amino mixes I’ve tried, but for some reason I was skeptical of getting the icing— I just didn’t think the other products needed icing because they’re so good on their own. I tried the icing on the Gingerbread Loaf and it made me realize how much of a game-changer this icing is! Making it with Greek yogurt, it’s similar to a nice light cream cheese! It’s so good, and without piles of sugar/fat like regular icing or cream cheese. I think the bag of Protein Icing is good value too— one bag will make a ton of icing. When I made the Gingerbread Loaf, I doubled the icing mix because I thought I’d need it, but I could’ve managed with just one serving of the icing! Because doubled it, I had enough icing left over to decorate 2 dozen cookies! A little goes a long way!
I'm so glad I finally tried the icing, it is so amazing. Such a bang for your buck item. It is so versatile, delicious, and compatible with so many things! Stop sleeping on this product and definitely try it out!!

I love making the icing into a single serve cream cheese icing and using on the banana bread (which I also make as a single serve recipe for lunch) …or even by itself when I’m really craving something sweet. I’ve also mixed it into overnight oats or yogurt (along with some other flavors) which is delicious.
Last minute I added the Protein Icing to my order and I am so glad I did! I topped the Limited Edition Gingerbread Loaf with the Protein Icing - wow! So amazing and also so easy to make! Now I want to add the Protein Icing to everything!! Such a powerhouse to assist in reaching my daily protein goal!
For the a gingerbread loaf I added crystallized ginger to the top of the loaf once iced.
