Upgrade Your Breakfast: 4 Easy High-Protein Swaps to start your day right!
Share
My passion is to empower women to fuel their bodies with delicious and nutritious high-protein options. As the founder of HelloAmino, I'm sharing valuable insights and tips on how to incorporate more protein into your diet effortlessly.
I too struggled to eat enough protein. Back in my mid 30's I think I was eating roughly 70g a day. I really had no idea how much I was eating, how to eat more OR how much I should eat. And that led me to the start of my fitness and nutrition journey where I started coaching women online.
I soon realized I wasn't alone, almost all women struggle to eat enough protein and so, as a Chef, I worked on finding a solution. HelloAmino was created out of this passion.
Gone are the days where we have to skip breakfast to lose weight. Get in 30g from the start means your 100g goal is that much easier to achieve.
Let's get into my top 4 foods to ditch and top 4 foods to embrace for breakfast!
Tip #1: Ditch the eggs. At only 6g each you'll need far too many to be tolerable.
Instead opt for a bowl of protein packed overnight oats. This is the perfect recipe to meal prep and has 37g of protein!
Tip # 2: Ditch the avocado toast. I don't know who decided this was a good or healthy choice.
If you aching for bread our waffles give you that same crunch you're craving but pack in 39g of protein. Sandwich it between an egg and some ham and then you can have your avocado too.
Tip #3: Skip your local coffee shop and the sugar that comes with it.
Swap it for a HelloAmino tea latte or mocha. Not only will it save you money but you'll get 32g of protein and zero added sugar.
Tip #4: Avoid the pastries. I love me a donut, scone or muffin but you'll quickly add up a lot of fat and carbs and have very little protein.
Grab two slices of our banana bread and hit your 30g!
Conclusion: Eating more protein doesn't have to be complicated or boring. With these simple swaps you can easily elevate your nutrition and fuel your body for success. Here's to feeling strong, energized, and nourished every day!
